Aroma Essentials Carrot Sunblock Review

Before jumping on the review I wanna share this with you guys.. I will be reviewing the products that are paraben free, SLS free, chemical free and are more on the natural side. These are the products I love and use them myself. I have started using natural products a year ago. Initially I had difficulty in finding the products which are SLS free, paraben free, cruelty free and that suit my skin type. Then, I came across this Aroma Essentials brand which satisfies my skin needs..

There is a misconception that sunscreen is a summer essential and not required in other seasons. But the fact is that you need to use this every single day regardless of the season or even if you stay at home. Sun shines every day so you need protection every day.  Sunblock is a nothing but a physical sunscreen/mineral sun screen that sits on top of the skin as a barrier and reflects all the harmful UV rays. Sunblock has zinc oxide or titanium oxide which makes it thicker than the regular sunscreen lotions.

Today, I am gonna be talking about Carrot Sunblock from Aroma Essentials which I am using and love absolutely..

Carrot sunblock with SPF 30 has Carrot Oil, mint, lavender and zinc.

Product Claims:

* Suitable for Normal to dry skin, safe for Rosacea (acne prone skin).

* Protects skin from harsh UVA & UVB rays, helps to prevent facial brown spots and skin discolorations, slows down the development of wrinkled, premature aging of skin.

* Free from artificial fragrance and chemicals.

* Not tested on animals. Dermatologically tested.

Initially I had many queries about the products and Madhurima (Founder and the magician behind the brand Aroma Essentials) Di is very patient in clarifying them. She is the one who suggested me this Carrot sunblock for my highly sensitive skin. I have received the product in small tub packaging with inner lid (currently it is available in flip open bottle packaging) which is travel friendly. Texture of this is smooth and heavy like whipped cream. It is light yellowish, has very mild fragrance and spreads easily on skin. Very little quantity of the cream is required to apply on my face and neck. . I usually massage this for 30 seconds so it penetrates into the skin without leaving any white cast.  Sometimes when I am in hurry I skip moisturizer and apply only this sunblock.  Unlike other sunscreens, it doesn’t clog pores and is not greasy.  My skin looks soft and smooth post application.  It is advised to apply this sunscreen at least 20 minutes before stepping out in sun. Reapply this for every 4 hours when you are in sun to avoid skin tanning. I have been using this since many months and haven’t found any side effects till date. This is the best ever natural sunblock I have found. It is safe for my skin, hopefully for your skin type too :)

Though this is slightly on the expensive side compared with many sunscreens available in the market. It is handmade and natural without any chemicals that suits every skin type. It is best before 6 months from the date of manufacturing and it last for good 3 to 4 months, keeping all these in mind I think it is  a good value for money. I strongly recommend this sunblock to everyone (It can be used by Men too). Give it a try guys, you will repurchase this again and again.
